Description
The Abelia 'Conti'(s) (Abelia grandiflora) is a bushy, dense, deciduous shrub with decorative, egg-shaped, light-green leaves edged with white. It also bears white-pink, funnel-shaped flowers from June to October. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 m and spreads to around 3 m.

Leaves
High ornamental value. The deciduous leaves of Abelia 'Conti'(s) are light green, ovate and have a white margin. They are about 3–4 cm in size.

Frost hardiness
Winter protection is required in unprotected areas of the garden. Potted plants are best overwintered in a frost-free place.

Growth
Abelia 'Conti'(s) is a bushy, densely growing shrub. It usually reaches a height of 2–3 m and spreads to a width of approx. 2–3 m. It generally grows 15–30 cm per year.
