Description
The Abelia 'Sparkling Silver' (Abelia grandiflora) is a bushy, dense, winter-green shrub with decorative, lanceolate, dark green leaves with a white margin. It also bears light pink, bell-shaped flowers from August to September. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.

High foliage ornamental value. The winter-green leaves of Abelia 'Sparkling Silver' are dark green, lanceolate and have a white margin. They are about 3 - 4 cm in size. Abelia 'Sparkling Silver' turns bright bronze in autumn.
