Description
The White forsythia (Abeliophyllum distichum) is a compact shrub that produces white flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from March to the beginning of May. These produce brown, round fruits. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The White forsythia also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.75 metres.
