Description
The White fir 'Compacta' (Abies concolor) is a shrub that grows compactly and usually reaches a height of approximately 3 m and a width of approximately 3 m. Its needle-like leaves are silver-blue in colour. Decorative cones adorn Abies concolor 'Compacta' from September onwards. This shrub is highly frost-hardy. It prefers well-drained, humus-rich, loose, slightly acidic soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position.
