Description
The Korean fir 'Blauer Pfiff' (Abies koreana) is a tree that grows in a broad, pyramidal shape and usually reaches a height of around 5 m and a width of around 4 m. Its needle-like leaves are blue in colour. Decorative cones adorn Abies koreana 'Blauer Pfiff' from October onwards. This tree is highly frost-hardy. It prefers well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position.
