Description
The Korean fir 'Blue Emperor' (Abies koreana) is a tree that grows in a pyramidal, compact, columnar shape and usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and a width of around 4.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are blue-green in colour. Decorative blue cones adorn Abies koreana 'Blue Emperor' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil in a sunny position.
