Description
The Spanish fir 'Horstmann' (Abies pinsapo) is a shrub that grows broadly, densely and compactly, usually reaching a height of around 80 cm and a width of around 1.5 m. Its leaves are blue-grey in colour. Decorative cones adorn Abies pinsapo 'Horstmann' from October onwards. This shrub is highly frost-hardy. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich, acidic, loamy soil in a sunny to shady position.
