Description
The Spineless Acaena 'Purpurea' (Acaena inermis) is a carpet-like, winter-green perennial that forms pink-white flowers from July to August. Decorative fruits develop from the flowers. Its pinnate leaves are purple-red in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 25 cm. The Spineless Acaena 'Purpurea' is well tolerant of frost.
