Description
The Bear's breech 'Hollard´s Gold' (Acanthus mollis) is an upright, clump-forming perennial with decorative, pinnate, yellow-green leaves. From July to August, it bears white-purple, lip-shaped flowers arranged in spikes. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 70 cm. The Bear's breech 'Hollard´s Gold' is well tolerant of frost.
