Description
The Bear's breech 'Tasmanian Angel' (Acanthus mollis) is an upright, clump-forming perennial with decorative, glossy, broadly lanceolate, green-white leaves. From June to August, it bears pink-white, lip-shaped flowers arranged in spikes. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Bear's breech 'Tasmanian Angel' is well tolerant of frost.
