Description
The Bear's breech 'Morning Candle' (Acanthus mollis) is an upright, clump-forming perennial with decorative, pinnate, dark green leaves. From July to August, it bears pink, white or light pink, lip-shaped flowers arranged in spikes. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Bear's breech 'Morning Candle' is well tolerant of frost.
