Description
The Maple 'Ample Surprise' (Acer) is an upright, branched large shrub that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from March to April. The Maple 'Ample Surprise' also has twisted, dark green leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
