Description
The Maple 'Ample Surprise' (Acer) is an upright, branched large shrub that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in panicles. These appear from March to April. The Maple 'Ample Surprise' also has twisted, dark green leaves. The bronze-coloured new growth is also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 4 m and spreads to approx. 3 m.
