Description
The Field Maple 'Anny`s Globe' (Acer campestre) is an upright, broad, compact, roundish large shrub or small tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in panicles. They appear in May. These produce brown winged fruits from August. The Field Maple 'Anny`s Globe' also has dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 6 metres.
