Description
The Field Maple 'Green Column' (Acer campestre) is a conical large shrub or small tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers. They appear in May. These produce brown winged fruits from August. The Field Maple 'Green Column' also has dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 12 metres and grows to a width of approx. 5 metres.
