Description
The Feldahorn 'Street Pillar' (Acer campestre) is an upright, slender small tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in panicles. They appear in May. These produce brown winged fruits from August. The Feldahorn 'Street Pillar' also has dark green leaves. The light green shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
