Description
The Box elder (Acer negundo) is a loose, multi-stemmed, picturesque large shrub that produces light yellow flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from March to April. These produce creamy white winged fruits. The Box elder also has pinnate, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres. The Box elder makes no special demands on the soil.
