Description
The Japanese maple 'Beni-shichi-henge' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, broad, deciduous large shrub with decorative, cut, dark green leaves with a pink-coloured edge. The pink-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 m and grows to around 1 m wide.
