Description
The Japanese maple 'Burgundy Lace' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, compact, shrub-like large shrub that produces purplish-red flowers arranged in clusters. These appear in May. These develop into reddish-brown winged fruits. The Japanese maple 'Burgundy Lace' also bears lobed, deeply incised, medium-green leaves with dark red markings.
