Description
The Japanese maple 'Dissectum Rubrifolium' (Acer palmatum) is a compact, deciduous large shrub with decorative, deeply lobed, medium-green leaves. Its red new growth is also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 m and spreads to around 1.2 m.
