Description
The Japanese maple 'Elegans' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, bushy, compact, deciduous large shrub with decorative, serrated, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 4 m and spreads to approx. 3 m.
