Description
The Japanese maple 'Manyo No Sato' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, upright, deciduous large shrub with decorative, cut, purple-red leaves with a creamy white edge. It also bears pink flowers arranged in clusters in May. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.4 m and grows to a width of approx. 1.8 m.
