Description
The Japanese maple 'Nigrum' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, upright, deciduous large shrub with decorative, lobed, purplish-red leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3.6 m and spreads to approx. 2.1 m.
