Description
The Japanese maple 'Peaches and Cream' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, deciduous large shrub with decorative, lobed, medium-green leaves veined in dark green and edged in pinkish-red. Its creamy-white new growth is also an interesting sight. In addition, it bears purplish-red flowers arranged in clusters in May. These develop into reddish-brown winged fruits. In a sunny to semi-shaded, wind-protected position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and spreads to approx. 1.8 m.

Leaves
