Description
The Japanese maple 'Ruby Stars' (Acer palmatum) is a multi-stemmed, umbrella-shaped, picturesque, dwarf, deciduous large shrub with decorative, cut, medium green leaves with red markings. It also bears purple-red flowers arranged in clusters in May. These produce red-brown winged fruits. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide.
