Description
The Japanese maple 'Sharp´s Pygmy' (Acer palmatum) is a dense, compact small shrub that produces purple-red flowers arranged in clusters. They appear in May. These produce red-brown winged fruits. The Japanese maple 'Sharp´s Pygmy' also has medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and grows to a width of approx. 70 cm.
