Description
The Japanese maple 'Wilson´s Pink Dwarf' (Acer palmatum) is an upright, compact shrub that produces purplish-red flowers arranged in clusters. These appear in May. They develop into reddish-brown winged fruits. The Japanese maple 'Wilson´s Pink Dwarf' also has medium-green leaves. The pink new growth is also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shaded, sheltered position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 m and spreads to around 2 m.
