Description
The Norway maple 'Columnare' (Acer platanoides) is a dense, columnar tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in corymbs. They appear in April. These produce brown winged fruits. The Norway maple 'Columnare' also has dark green leaves. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is dark grey and longitudinally furrowed.
