Description
The Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) is an egg-shaped, picturesque large tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from May to June. The Sycamore also has dark green leaves. Its bark is silver-grey and scaly. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of around 30 metres and grows to a width of around 20 metres.
