Description
The Sycamore 'Atropurpureum' (Acer pseudoplatanus) is an ovoid, picturesque, deciduous large tree with decorative, two-coloured leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears greenish-yellow flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres and is around 18 metres wide.
