Description
The Red maple 'Scanlon' (Acer rubrum) is a columnar small tree that produces dark red flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from March to April. The Red maple 'Scanlon' also has shiny, medium green leaves. Its bark is grey. In a sunny location with lime-free, nutrient-rich, moist to wet, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 12 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
