Description
The Silver maple 'Laciniatum Wieri' (Acer saccharinum) is a loose, overhanging tree that produces yellow-red flowers. They appear in March. The Silver maple 'Laciniatum Wieri' also has shiny, light green leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is silver-grey and longitudinally furrowed. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 metres and grows to a width of approx. 20 metres.
