Description
The Sugar maple (Acer saccharum) is an ovoid, roundish tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers. They appear in April. The Sugar maple also has medium green leaves. Its bark is grey-green. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres and is around 14 metres wide.
