Description
The Common yarrow 'Red Velvet' (Achillea millefolium) is an upright perennial that produces red flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from June to July. Repeated flowering occurs in September with the right care. Its matt, pinnate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Common yarrow 'Red Velvet' is well tolerant of frost.
