Description
The Basil Thyme (Acinos arvensis) is an upright perennial that produces purple, lip-shaped flowers from June to September. Its pointed ovate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm.

Care
- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- Rock garden plants love loose, well-drained soil. However, as this substrate stores little water, the plants must be watered regularly for several weeks after planting, especially in dry conditions, until they are sufficiently rooted.
