Description
With its medium green leaves, the Japanese rush (Acorus gramineus) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams and aquariums. Green flowers appear from June to July. It prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Japanese rush is well tolerant of frost. The upright, winter-green plant usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm.
