Description
With its yellow-green leaves, the Japanese rush 'Ogon' (Acorus gramineus) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly well suited to use along pond edges, in streams and in aquariums. Green flowers appear from June to July. It prefers humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny position. The Japanese rush 'Ogon' is quite frost-hardy. This upright, creeping plant usually reaches a height of around 20 cm.
