Description
The Red baneberry (Actaea rubra) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial that produces white flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. Decorative, red fruits develop from the flowers in August. Its pinnate leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Red baneberry is well tolerant of frost.
