Description
The Red horse chestnut 'Plantierensis' (Aesculus carnea) is a broad, roundish garden plant that produces salmon-pink coloured flowers. They appear from April to May. The Red horse chestnut 'Plantierensis' also has dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres.
