Description
The Red horse chestnut 'Variegata' (Aesculus carnea) is a broad, roundish, deciduous garden plant with decorative, dark green leaves with a light green edge. It also bears pink flowers from April to May. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres.
