Description
The Dwarf buckeye 'Koehnei' (Aesculus pavia) is a conical, broad garden plant that produces red flowers. They appear in June. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 4 metres.
