Description
The African lily (Agapanthus africanus) is an upright perennial that forms blue or white, star-shaped flowers arranged in spikes from June to September. Its linear leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows to a width of approx. 70 cm. The African lily is well tolerant of frost.
