Description
The Bugle 'Braunherz' (Ajuga reptans) is a creeping, winter-green perennial with decorative, shiny, egg-shaped, whole-margined, green leaves with a brown centre. From April to May, it bears blue-violet, lip-shaped flowers arranged in whorls. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and grows to a width of approx. 25 cm. The Bugle 'Braunherz' is well tolerant of frost.
