The Bugle 'Burgundy Glow' (Ajuga reptans) is a creeping, winter-green perennial with decorative, glossy, ovate, whole-margined, dark green leaves with a white margin. From April to May, it bears blue, lip-shaped flowers arranged in whorls. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and grows to a width of approx. 25 cm. The Bugle 'Burgundy Glow' is well tolerant of frost.
