Description
The Bugle 'Elmblut' (Ajuga reptans) is a creeping, winter-green perennial that forms blue-violet, lip-shaped flowers arranged in whorls from April to May. Its glossy, egg-shaped, whole-margined leaves are dark brown and shiny. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The Bugle 'Elmblut' is well tolerant of frost.
