Description
The Fünfblättrige Akebie (Akebia x pentaphylla) is a climbing deciduous plant that produces purple-violet flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. Purple-pink coloured, elongated, oval fruits emerge from September. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Fünfblättrige Akebie also has palmate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 9 metres.
