Description
The Three-leaf akebia (Akebia trifoliata) is a climbing deciduous plant that produces purple-red flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. These produce purple-violet fruits from September. They exude a pleasant fragrance. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and is around 5 metres wide.
