Description
The Alder-leaved serviceberry 'Greatberry® Fruity' (Amelanchier alnifolia) is an upright, multi-stemmed large shrub that produces creamy white flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from April to May. These produce dark blue, round fruits from August. The Alder-leaved serviceberry 'Greatberry® Fruity' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 4.5 metres. The Alder-leaved serviceberry 'Greatberry® Fruity' makes no special demands on the soil.
