Description
The Alder-leaved serviceberry 'Obelisk'® (Amelanchier alnifolia) is a columnar, slender large shrub that produces white, star-shaped flowers. They appear from April to May. These produce black-blue, round fruits from September. They are small. The Alder-leaved serviceberry 'Obelisk'® also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. The copper-brown shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 2 metres.
