Description
The Eastern bluestar 'Blue Ice' (Amsonia orientalis) is a bushy, clump-forming, upright perennial that forms blue, star-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from May to July. Its lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Eastern bluestar 'Blue Ice' is well tolerant of frost.
